UPDATE :: Snacks at 30,000 feet

Last week I blogged about the best snacks at 30,000 feet and mentioned Biscoff cookies. It turns out, my love for these thin caramelized cinnamon and sugar crisps is shared by more than I ever imagined! I came across this post by John Birdsall on Chow.com. I always thought the name, Biscoff, looked familiar to me and it did because I’ve walked passed the Biscoff Coffee Corner in San Francisco over a dozen times!

It turns out that this popular airline snack even has its own spreadable knockoff courtesy of Trader Joe’s! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery… Chow.com’s test-kitchens were kind enough to come up with their own recipe for this sweet delight and share it with Biscoff lovers everywhere. I can’t wait to Marinate myself in this!
